B & M question

I am wondering if a B&M mega-shifter will fit in a stock 70 MAch 1 center console.

Any 70 guys know, help would be appreciated

I can't answer your question directly, but here is a pic of my car back when I had the B&M Megashifter. Hope it helps

It will not fit straight "out of the box". I have one in my 69 with a console and I had to get a junk center insert and cut and modify it. Had to cut down the Mega shifter base by a coupla inches. It took a lot of fitting but once it's was in, it looks great. Painted to match the console.
