Well my piggy bank isn't filling up fast enough. I'm still investigating clutch options, and I have found a source for my five speed. In the mean time though I picking up the above mentioned kit and was wondering if anyone has done this to their C4? Two cents?

Oh, how many quarts of fluid does a C4 take?

thanks..

I put one of them in before. When I had a 289/C4 combo. It is really easy. Hardest part is getting the pan off without dropping fluid everywhere. It really improves shifting and it will give you the opportunity to add a drain plug to the transmission.

Qts of fluid....I don't remember

If you are only dropping the pan, 3 quarts is about right. They used different pans, so that is a guess.

Have one in my car, its fun watching your friend's head bob when it shifts. Super quick shifts that jerk the whole car. Its awesome.

A lot of people seem to like the Trans-go kits so you might look into them as well.

How long did it take you guys?

Is it a simple matter of jacking the car, pulling the pan, and replacing parts?

You have to pull the VB out and do a few little things to it, whole project will prolly take 3 hours or so.

I'll second the transgo kit. When you get into it, 1st. Chirp 2nd. Chirp 3rd.

Crisp quick shifts. Manual shift ability. And actually surprisingly smooth when you're just cruising.

That's my .02
