B&M shifter for T5`

A guy here locally has a B&M "Percision Sport" shifter for sale. Part number 45050

Precision Sport Shifter '83-'03 Mustang

Was thinking of replacing the stock shifter in my T5

Is this a good shifter or should I hold out for someting better? I plan to upgrade to a GeForce T5 someday and want to swap the shifter at that time...

I'd say it's an OK deal, not especially good or bad, just the going rate for that kind of thing.....

I had one in an '89 GT and it was a LOT better than stock. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that that the arm height isn't adjustable. I always figured that I would get a B&M Ripper the next time. Since my SVO's shifter is mushy, I might do just that.

I have the Ripper. I would choose something like the Pro 5.0 that pushed the shifter into 3rd when you shift.

It should be adjustable so the stick rests between 1 & 2 in neutral or 3 & 4. My 45050 was.
