B&M Transpak problem

i recently just had a B&M transpak put in. My hopes were greatly crushed when i got the car back and tested it. Firtly, when its in drive and i floor it it wont shift into second. when im just driving normally it waits until 3k to shift but it doesnt shift into 2nd. it shifts from 1st to 3rd. And when i do the 1-D-1 to get it into 2nd it wont bark the tires at full throttle. They said they can program the shift points through the computer but that wont fix the fact it doesnt have have firm shifts. Anyone experience this problem?

Yeah I agree on the transgo. you can do a search under my name and look what I have wrote about mine. But I really don't think yours is installed correctly.. it should still shift into every gear, B&M's are usually way to hard shifting, but it sounds like you may have a valve or something sticking. On a 91 the shifts vacumn controled.. the computer shift points are on the AODE's found in 94 up's.

maybe they made a mistake installing yours... and i don't really know the difference between the two, but everything i've heard leans towards tha Transgo... B&M in general gets bad reviews... shifters, etc... i wouldn't get anything B&M... but check it out, they may have made an error installing or something
