Are the "B" springs progressive and the "C" springs not? Is that the only difference between the two sets? Do you cut one coil off the rear of the "B" springs also? Where is the best place to get these?

The rear springs are the same, front spring for the B are progressive and softer, the C springs are fixed at 600 I think. I like my B springs, not too rough and has a good ride quality. I didn't cut any springs:
