b303 cam in stock motor

shouldnt have any problems but for what reason are you swapping the cam??

using a stock intake and heads, a cam swap is useless, wait for a cam swap when you have better flowing heads and intake.

I dont think a Bcam would be your best choise of cam but its a good cam, its what I have in my car, if you are upgrading the intake and doing something to the heads, you mine as well put a cam in there if your gonna have the engine torn apart. Atleast that way when you get an even better intake and new heads you wont have to dig in to the heart of the engine, that being said, the Bcam is not your best choice of cam.

im putting a cobra intake and the heads are going to have larger valves. will that help?

yeah that would help. but just a valve size upgrade isnt going to net much without actual port work.

the stock exhaust ports on an e7 head are super small and restrictive.

you could get some gt-40 iron heads and then i'd say a cam swap would be worth it then, like an E or B cam or TFS1 something like that.

I would have to agree, B cam is a good cam. But only if your intake/heads can suppout it. I used to run a combo with a B303 but I was running a GT40 intake and cast ported GT40 heads. Solid high 12s but you're not going to do it with just a B cam alone.
