Well even though I was realy sick, I went to the track friday night. I must remind you all that this was my and the birds first time at the track. My first pass was a let down I bogged off the line and ran a sad 11.24(remember 1/8th mile) Ilet it cool down and took it back for another go, and had a good launch and pulled a 10.23 pass out of it. I made a therd pass that felt alot faster but I didnt know that they throw your time slip away after 10min. So Ill never know. After my therd run I upped the boost to 18psi and Had traction issues the rest of the night and my head was cloudy from being sick so it didnt occor to me to take the boost back down till the next day
One Of the guys I work with has a dewl overhead 2.3l 5speed focus and all week he was trash talking my bird, well when I ran him I spun through 1st and still took him by about 5 cars
he didnt talk to me the rest of the night!
I ran a buddy who drives an 86t-top stang with a 5.0l and took him off the line had him by about 4 cars at half track then missed 3rd and had to let off, he passed me right at the beems and took the win. my speed that time was a wopping 44mpg
