Wayne is on his way back from the Year One Experiance. He would have been quite a bit farther along except for the fact that he toasted an outer wheel bearing on the dully.

Anyway...

The SN65 took first in our catagory and also placed second for best in show. Which is all fine and good, but Wayne said the best part of the weekend was just hanging out with all the nice people he met.

not just a tt chevelle but a tt LT4 vette (ZR-1 motor) that' extremely custom and looks extremely custom. the sn65 is extremely custom but it doesn't look it, it looks stock and like it came that way from the factory. cars that look extremely custom are the ones that usualy take first of show at big events like year one and goodguys. there's no doubt in my mind which one would be the most comfortable and reliable daily driver though.

Just being picky...

The ZR-1 motor was the DOHC LT-5. LT-4 was standard 'vette LT-1 with a special intake, rated at 330HP.

Actually to be picky the LT4 had different intake, heads, roller rockers, higher compression ratio, etc. It came standard in all '96 Vettes with the 6 speed. The automatics came with the LT1.

Just to be a little more picky goose....

LT4's only came standard in the 1996 "Grand Sport" Corvettes, and were an option in the standard transmission models. There were also about 100 put into the 1997 SLP Camaro SS's equipped with the LT4 motor.
