I'm back. Been a member here since 99. Sold my red 96 gt (248a) back in 05. Spent 7 years without a mustang. Just picked up a Triple black 92 gt vert on Sunday. 160k miles. brand new exhaust. Ford racing headers, high flow h with cats and flowmasters. Interior in great shape. Pony wheels in great shape with good tires. Engine and tranny were smooth on the 190 mile trip home. Paint should look good with a minor buffing.

The bad: Suspension is toast. I already ordered new shocks/struts/springs all around.
Top is ripped and has holes.
Missing convertible boot
Missing headliner
ash tray broken
one door handle broken
both doors need hinge pins asap
tach seems to stick at st 3k rpm sometimes

I tried to upload a pic. What do you guys think? I paid 3k which I think is fair. The rims, tires and exhaust alone would have cost a significant amount. I spent a few months looking for a 90-93 gt vert, manual, black white or red. Came across alot of bad ones. This one has alot of potential.

The Good......all that stuff is replaceable through CJ Pony Parts, Latemodel Restoration, American Muscle, etc.

Not sure what they're going for generally in your area, but $3,000 for a rust free '87-'93 Vert around here would be a steal. Glad you're liking it.

yeah, it was a california car up until about a year ago as far as I can tell from autocheck. only some minor surface rust on some undercarriage componenets. pretty happy so far.

That order has actually already been processed and shipped. Ill take care of it tomorrow for you. Take a look at that sticky, and use the discount code on your orders. Its there for just that reason! Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
