7 years later and countless hours. I am 99% finished with my GT-500. What do you all think. 427 stroked all aluminum shelby FE. Stage 2 ported shelby heads,c8ax cam,Tunnel-wedge intake and bj/Bk

shelby carbs.

Okay,I have to say it.....

"That Bad-Azz black screamer sitting next to a black "long-nose" (Peter-car? K-Whopper? Maybe a Mack???) keeps reminding me of a really bad Burt Reynolds/Jerry Reed movie from the mid 70's - which, truth be told, we all thought was cool at the time!"

All jests aside; beautiful car, and you should be very proud. Don't know as I'd lay out the long green for Carroll's signature on a block (maybe a Pond or Genesis if any are to be found); but DAY-YUM; it sure looks purdy!

I think, if you were to be doing a re-make of Smokey and the Bandit (finally remembered the name of the movie), the Shelby would be slightly more realistic in the role than an oversized Pontiac!

But that's just my opinion, YMMMV.

She's a beauty! You probably should block out your license plates from the picture. A lot of idiots out there looking for stuff like that. I noticed you are not running with an export brace or monte carlo bar. I would think this would be problematic at some point, even if that big block is all aluminum.
