backfiring

I would like to know why my car is back firing and if any of you have had the same problems. it backfires everytime I shift hard. it is throwing the code for the evap purge could this be the cause.

I'de check all my ignition coils, hoses, and wires attach in and around my intake system and make sure there isn't a leak or something loose. Bump.

it is nothing like that. I have checked everything and the code that it is throwing it the evap purge code. has anyone had this problem?

I've heard of this problem, unfortunately, I don't know the remedy for the problem. Have you tired posting this questioin over at www.modulardepot.com ? You're sure to get a technical answer there.
