Backspacing and offset for 99 Mustang GT cobra wheels polished/painted

I need the offset more than anything. I have the 5 lug conversion and used a 94 model rear end in my car, trying to make sure a set of wheels will work before I buy them

They will work with the SN95 axles. Actually I think they look better with the longer SN95 axles than stock length Fox axles. They fill the wheel well out better. The M2300K Cobra brake kit recommends 17x8 wheels with 5.75 inch BS, such as any 94-04 17x8 inch Mustang wheel (Cobra and GT). FYI: The 03-04 17x9 Cobra wheels will stick out too far and hit the fender lip.

If you have the Cobra wheels you can measure the offset. Put a straight edge across the back of the rim from side to side. Measure down from the straight edge to the mating flange. Subtract 5.75 inch from the measurement you just got and that is the offset. If the measurement from the straight edge to the flange is larger that 5.75, its a positive offset. If it's smaller, then it's a negative offset.

yes it does.
