1994 Mustang GT 5-speed. Both backup lights are not working. I replaced both light bulbs and check all the hood and interior fuses. Is there another place I should look at? Thanks for your help.
On the driver side of the trans there's a wire/cable (not the vehicle speed sensor). If you pull the wire/cable off you'll see a brass plug with two poles on it. That's probably you're problem. There's a ball bearing in the plug that when the car is put in reverse, the ball bearing completes the circuit and sends voltage to the back-up lights. Hope this fixes it.
