How can u tell if u need to replace the harmonic balancer? My 90GT has this vibration in the shifter above 2500rpms and at idle. wondering if the balancer is the culprit?
How can u tell if u need to replace the harmonic balancer? My 90GT has this vibration in the shifter above 2500rpms and at idle. wondering if the balancer is the culprit?
The factory Ford balancer is a two piece unit, they start to come apart over time. If you look down at it and it wobbles, replace it. Reach down there and see if you can physically rock it at all. They're pretty cheap, if you think it's bad replace it soon or it will become a much bigger problem.
