I did search, but could not find anything...

The car: 01GT w/ 70k miles, Eibach Pro Kit springs, Tokico adjustable shocks/ struts, and (if it matters) offset steering rack bushings.

The problem: Very bad squeek when going over almost any bumps. Going over speed bumps is downright embarassing.

The question: What do you think it may be? Is it the Tokico struts? Maybe some worn out bushings? Something needs some lube down there? Something else?

I figure there must be others in front of me that must have had the same problem. Thanks for any help!

Could be a few things ... Ball Joints, Tie Rod Ends (pretty likely), also could be swaybar bushings (mine squeeked when they were shot).

check

Check your swaybar endlinks. Make sure the nuts on the top and bottom of both the drivers and passenger side are tight.

get a hypo- needle kit , it will fit on the front of any grease gun then gently inject into the non grease able fitting, pump ina small amount , it works , you may have to do it every 6 months but those squeaks will be gone ........

mine was doing that too....j/w if you have an aftermarket intake of some sort installed, turned out that it was my steeda intake doing the squeaking over bumps, i shoved a piece of foam under it to keep from bouncing...works for me...:SNSign:

No - There is no squeeking associated with the car turning. The squeeking is only from bumps that force the front suspension through vertical travel.

Not to hijack, but my car does squeak over bumps and sometimes when I'm turning, like when I am parking.

What could the problem be?

Try greasing the bushings. You may be like me and get lucky with the problem fixed. If that does not do the trick, I'd look next at the ball joints.
