Bad Fuel Pump, or Regulator, or Gauge please help????

My car has recently been acting up I have a 155lph pump, an accell (non liquid filled pressure gauge mounted on fuel line on engine) and a kirban FPR....all of which are about 6 or 7 years old. Recently, I have had my pressure set at 39 w/out vacuum, and I checked it the other day and it was 27 w/out vacuum, so I though maybe I didn't set it right so i bumped it back up to 39, then checked it 2 hours later after driving around town for 30 minutes and it was at 52 w/out vacuum....what is going on?????

i would get a diagnostic gauge (or new gauge) and go from there. you can carefully crimp the return line to see if the regulator is bad (as opposed to the pump).
