I just thought i would vent a bit.....since my mustang is still being built(yes im slow), im forced to drive my bronco....and damn, its killing me!.....It gets 10.5 mpg right now.... It cost me $90 to fill the damn thing today at 3.00 a gallon....

Just thought that its kind of funny that i think of my mustang as my good gas miledge car! lol....it actually pulls down about 20mpg on the highway!

here are some pics of it....it IS however great off road

Kyle, you and I have similar drivers. . .

My Bronco get's me about 15.5 MPG (95% highway).

Best I've gotten for mileage in the Mustang in the past month or two is 27 MPG.

Awsome what suspension/wheels/tires are you running on it? I've been thinking of picking up some Cragar 15x8's and 33x10.5 or 33x12 A/T's for mine.

looks nice,

the mpg was the #1 reason I bought a daily. It cost me 460$ A MONTH just to go to school, work, home not including ANYTHING else...

My daily gets 26-27 avg. overall, not bad for a dohc 3.5L baby northstar v6 that gets up and goes in a 4door. With payment, gas, and ins. its actually like 80$ cheaper a month .

I want to put on my BFG mud T/A 33x12.5's SOOOOOOO bad and take it out again, but I made up my mind to sell it. I just dont have the room/time/money (acutally in that order) to get it were I want it. I am close but in the end I have 3 autos 2 of them are toys and a small-ish driveway and one car garage. I will have another sometime though.

My 79 f 150 gets 10 mpg talk about a gas bill... it was just another reason to buy my 95 gt to drive daily (and play with of course )

it has a rough country 4" lift in the front. I took the rear lift blocks they give you and threw em in the trash. I did a shackle flip in the rear with 2" drop shackles and an add-a leaf....That is why the rear flexes so good.

Im running 35x12.5x15" Baja Claw radials with some durabacked 11" wide A.R. rims.

It needs some 4.56 gears BADDD.....that is mostly why it gets soo bad miledge

A good size tire and stock gears kill on hills, that was also one of the things that my the bronco NEEDS bad aswell. The roads I drove when it was my daily (mostly hwy) were just sets of hills the WHOLE damn way so I had to keep it in D and never got to use the O/D.

I have the same 4in lift, for the price its a good lift (I planned on doing the flip thing as well in the rear)...esp. if you want to go SAS not much money down the drain v. a BDS or so lift.
