Do I have a bad piston ring? Here is what happens. Last summer was the last time I had the car running. When I start it up cold, it would take a few minutes until I noticed little smoke coming out of the driver tailpipe. When revved a little, it would worsen. Under light load, 2K-3K rpm, going up a slight hill, it would really smoke good, like I was doing a small burnout. Blue smoke for sure. When I saw it, I thought I popped the dipstick out. Pulled #8 spark plug, and it is all black. I pulled the head and found no problems with the valve guide or seal on that cylinder. The intake port had a gold color to it which was a film of engine oil. This is the only intake port with this gold color so it is not oil from the intake or turbo. Any suggestions?
