I know that there is a sticky on idle surge, but it's getting huge. Ever since I had a new TB installed, I've had the surge also. I also thought I had read somewhere that drilling a small hole in the butterfly would relieve this. Any ideas?

Yep, I've heard that as well. What brand of throttle body did you install?

Did you reset your TPS voltage correctly?

Yeah, it's also been replaced along with the IAC. I just ordered an IAC adjustment plate, maybe this will help.

If both of those things have been checked than it might not be your TB. You should really look at JR's list (surging sticky)

I read through the sticky, and it can really be anything on the car causing the surge. I'm going to start with the adjustment plate and take it from there, this sorta thing can turn into a money pit when you're just throwing parts into the car.

Im a newbie to the EFI stuff but I did find that even a small amount of incorrect TPS voltage is way important. Mine was so far out I had to grind new slots in it to get in within the right range. Also look for any vacuum leaks they are also possible problems & lastly run a scan on it. see what puter says is wrong.
