I've been noticing a lot of noise coming from the transmission lately and am slowly losing hope in it being a bad T/O bearing. It started off fairly quiet but is now starting to sound like a power steering pump low on fluid. When revving the car in neutral with the clutch out the sound gets louder with an increase in RPMs and goes away when pushing in the clutch. But now it whines while driving and each gear makes a different pitched whine. The only gear that sounds normal is 4th. Moving the shifter left and right while in neutral also changes the pitch of the whine. So basically It makes a loud whine in N,1,2,3,5, and reverse. But the second i put it in 4th it stops. I'm open to any suggestions of what it may be. Car is an 04 Mustang GT with the TR3650. Thanks
