Balancer question, AOD and T5 the same?

I just purchased an engine out of a 1990 Lincoln Mark 7 to put in my 1990 Stang, and I wanted to make sure the harmonic balancer on the auto engine will work with my 5-speed setup.

Is there any difference in balance between the auto and stick balancers?

Ford Racing Parts only lists different balancers by year. There is no listing for balancers by transmission type.

Using this as a guide, I would say that there is no difference between a balancer for a auto transmisssion and a 5 speed manual transmisssion.

Correct, there is no difference in balancer from AOD to 5spd, only by year becasue of how the engine is/was balanced.

Just swapped to a 5 speed using the stock AOD balancer, no vibrations here .
