I was wondering if the spacers that come with the Steeda X2 ball joints are really necessary? I have H&R supersports on (with the isolators) already and will be putting the entire bumpsteer kit on with the ball joints. Can I leave these spacers out? Will it have any effect on the drivability?

It does say on the instructions that if the car is lowered more than 1.5”, then the spacers need to be used, although I have found some mixed opinions on here. Anyone have these removed with springs?? Any problems??

If you leave them out its gonna lower the front another 1/4 an inch I believe. I didnt put them in when I switched to my pro-kit and havnt seen any problems.

Are you staying with stock shocks and struts ? I switched to Bilsteins and the ride is awesome.

Nah, I replaced the shocks/struts with Tokico HP blues, (fox body) in the fronts and the reg. tokico HP blues in the back. I am putting the bumpsteer kit in with the ball joints and would love to take it down even further, I just do want to lose the steering. I also put MM C/C plates on as well with the shocks/springs
