Bama Custom Tunes

Hey guys, I just want to give some props to the guys at Bama Custom tuning

As you can see in my sig I don't have a ton of mods, just the usual bolt ons and I was feeling that my current tune was a little lacking. I bought my Xcal2 when it first came out and although the 93 tune was pretty good it just always seemed a little rich and even though I adjusted spark, leaned WOT Fuel etc I felt that there was room for improvement. I decided to get the Bama guys to write me a tune and for $50 I wasn't really expecting to much. Now I know you are only going to go so far with a mail order tune but right now a dyno tune does not make sense for me so I thought I'd try it out. Well I got my tunes yesterday and am thoroughly impressed with the difference and SOTP gains

With the 18x10s out back I have never really been able to chirp third gear (could also be due to my driving lol) but not anymore

So if you are looking for a good mail order tune, give the Bama guys a shout

Thanks for the Info! i plan on getting the SCT w/ Bama tune from AM soon, plus free tunes for life so whatever i do they can hook me up with a fresh new tune!

You know as well as I do, that you can't get much for $50 now adays, especially performance gains so I just had to share

im thinkin about putting some cams in mine and i have the xcal3...just curious how did this work did you just call them on the phone and tell them what all you had done to your car and they sent you something or did you have to send them your tuner?

You get a tune sent to your email of which you can download the program off of your programmers website to be able to load it. Real simple to do after getting the program installed.

I have the SCT X3 tuner with free custom tunes for life.
It is a neat little unit, and I like the free custom tunes. Now I can add stuff to my car and have a tune to go right along with it... whenever I want...
