Ok guys I am new here and have a question. I bought a used predator tuner for my c&l racer cai. Just placed an order through bamachips for 1 tune since they do not offer tunes for life with the predator. Anyways, I need recommendations on what tune to put on this daily driver 07 GT?. The octane lvls in my state are 87/89/91. I do plan on buying a 2nd tune here sometime soon.

If i were you I would just go for the 91 octane tune. It's definitely worth it for the extra punch. I think the biggest performance difference i've noticed between my 87 street tune, 93 performance tune, and 93 race tune is the throttle response and low end grunt. i was running an O/R prochamber and SLP Loudmouths, then bought a JLT CAI and got the 93 race tune. dear god what a difference, i went to take off from a light and instead of the lulled engine response i normally had it rapped up to 2500 rpms and i went hurtling down the road followed by a nice little puff of smoke. since then ive installed headers and pulleys and the tunes are spot on every time.

I would go with the 91 race tune but I would make sure it doesn' have the touch throttle that the original race tune was famous for. The upgraded race tune from bama is little more driver friendly but still pulls hard. For your 2nd tune, get the 91 performance. This tune kicks right around 3500 RPMS. This is an excellent tune for all around use.

got the 91 race tune put in and I really don't see the much of a dif then that predator canned tune I had in there. I read in other post how people talk bout the race tune jumping, spinning tires and crap. drives normal to me with some noticeable increase. Any suggestions?
