I'd like to know the best order to make mods to my V6.
I have a CAI and SCT tune. I've considered exhaust ( whether just a different muffler or true duals) , lower drive pulley , rear end (positrack and 3.73 gears )
if you had 500$ to spend what would you do next? 1000$? 1,500$? 2,000$?

posi rear end and 3.73 gears (you'll love it)

I'd also get a GT rear stabilizer bar installed / its a cheap mod with excellent real world results

go for dual exhaust and h pipe

for 500.00 you should go for a dual exhaust and h pipe, since the moment you turn the engine you will smile because of the sound(amazing) and the performance.
i added the asp underdrive pulley (small gain but a gain afteall).
But the most were the 3.73 gears and t-lock the best 700.00 spent.

3.73 gears will be the most bang for the buck, with very little, if any penalty on gas mileage, or drivability. The EPA dictates 3.31 gears for Ford's corporate average fuel economy (C.A.F.E.) ratings. All auto manufacturers have to meet corporate averages. So to make up for the big gas guzzling pick-ups or FR500KR's Ford has to produce X amount of fuel efficient cars. And since mpg is figured on a computer, a 3200 pound V6 with 3.31 gears gains them points to offset the big money makers with bad gas mileage. Your mileage may even increase with the lower (numerically higher) gears since your engine will be operating in a more efficient rpm range. But more importantly it will definitely increase the hp on the butt dyno, that's the important one to us.

"I'd also get a GT rear stabilizer bar installed / its a cheap mod with excellent real world results"

this is the first time that this has been suggested to me...how about a little more info?
Especially ease of installation and noticable improvemnent in ride. I have been surfing a little trying to find the product/part without much success

I kept the 3.31 gears because I drive a lot of freeway miles and speeds above 65

and the fact that I am pretty frugal ... the 3.31 = better gas milage .
