Ok, this is getting absurd. I posted a few days ago about shearing off a banjo bolt while putting on my cobra calipers. So I ordered replacements from Summit. (M-2321-A) They are the coarse banjo bolts for the 10th anniversary calipers which are the ones I have.
Here is what I originally bought: http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=591
It's a set of 10th anniversary calipers and it came with some Goodridge G-Stop stainless lines.
The bolts are way too long, they bottom out in the calipers before they even start to touch the brake line, so there is no way to tighten it up. See pic below. So what do I do now?
The banjo bolt on the left is like the one that came with the calipers/lines. It fits just fine, but one of them is broken so I only have 1 of these. The one on the right is the ford "correct" bolt which is too long and doesn't fit. This is really getting frustrating.
