Hi, I pretty much know the basics from the fire wall out
Is this right?: The 12 volt wire for the compressor comes out of the
firewall and into a pressure switch (shuts it down if 134-a is low) then to a relay that sends the current to the magnetic clutch on the compressor.
If that right this is what I need to know,
Isn't there a sensor in the evaporator core that shuts down the system if it gets to cold? If so Does the current run through the switch before the dash control or from the dash control and then through the sensor then out the firewall?
Also on the compressor does the negative wire for the clutch run straight to a ground or what?
I'm switching over to a carburetor style and I'm thinking of eliminating the computer all together and just rewiring it in a basic fashion.
I can't seem to find a really basic wiring diagram that has all the switches included. Does anyone have a basic wire diagram or a link to one?
Sorry about all the posts with questions but I'm taking notes and I'm getting ready to rip into my fox and I am gathering all the information I can.
