Is the computer the weak point in these cars, if you were to swap computers to the earlier fox models would you be able to make as much hp as a fox would with the same motor set up? or are there other gremlins? Thanx

I wouldn't say its a weak point, but its a definite hurdle. I'm not a believer in the swap to the A9L EEC as I think its WAY too much money to spend to end up with a still stock EEC. As for whether or not the EEC is the cultprit behind the missing HP found in our cars is debatable, some say its the intake setup, some the EEC... I don't know for sure. I say if you are going to spend the moeny to get an A9L conversion and then chip it, you'd be better off (and it'd probably be cheaper) to go to a complete stand alone setup.
