I'm a little confused on exhaust systems. I read that MAC make more power than bassani. Is this true? What are chambered mufflers? Is the MAC prochamber their catback exhaust? Will MAC headers and a mac x pipe sound good with a bassani catback or should I go bassani for the entire exhaust system? Which would make more power? On the bassani website it has their regualr systems and b/x systems. Whats the difference and which is better as well as which makes more power?

MAC Prochamber is H-pipe. If you go with bassani everything it would sound really good. In most testing everyone says Mac makes more power with the prochamber than any other mid-pipe. I got one they sound awesome! Bassani's Bx brand is just aluminized no chrome. Its cheaper for the people who don't wanna spent and extra $100 or so. The quality is the same. Its a hard choice but if i had to do it all over again and i wasn't on a budget I would have went with bassani headers and X-pipe.

Would a full MAC exhaust sound good? My budget is kind of limited as I just bought the car and have to pay my parents back for it so if possible I would like to go for MAC since it is cheaper. From what I understand the MAC LT's, prochamber, and MAC catback would make more power than bassani shorties, o/r x pipe, and catback, but bassani is higher quality. I also plan on supercharging vortech or possibly kenne bell in the future so would 1 5/8 LT's, the 2.5 prochamber, and a 2.5 catback be too small to accomodate this? I would prefer to not have to go to a larger size in the future and end up buying a whole new exhaust system. Thanks for all responses.

I have bassani equal length headers with the O/R x-pipe with the pro chambers it is loud I find myself always 2gears ahead to keep the car quiet in residental areas but when you open it up it sounds mean as far as size goes I don't know I have heard you need 400hp to fully utilize 3inch exhaust.
