My (new-to-me) 2000 GT has a Bassani Catted-X and MAC Catback... I got it yesterday so today was the first time I drove it to school. Anyways, whenever I got over a speedbump (even from an angle) the X-Pipe scrapes BAAAD! Is there any way to fix this? Does this happen to anyone else?

I had mine installed about 6 months ago and I bottom out on everything. you just have to avoid all speed bumps.

Damn, this kinda sucks... I'm afraid to take out my mid-pipe one of these times!! You hit a decent bump and it hits HARD!

jack up the car and put it on jackstands. Now unbolt the bolts that connect X to catback. Put floorjack under the x pipe right at the crossover and carefully, slowly, jack up the X pipe. When its high enough, bolt it back in. My X never scrapes

Does that bend it or what? What keeps it from coming back down after you set the car back down?
