bassani mid lenths or hooker l/t?

ive been looking into getting some headers for my stang and im stuck between these two. i like the bassani's there really nice but im wondering if i would make more power with the hookers. i also know the the hookers have problems with the steering shaft but nothing that cant be fixed with some washers on the motor mount. i was looking for some info on the two and what some of you guys are running ive searched but really didnt find that much info.

My Hookers have zero problems rubbing the steering shaft.

Flowtech's are a pretty decent header for low $$. Some have had zero to little issues with their Longtubes.

really see ive hurd some people have problems and other dont so you like your hookers? how are they holding up? have any problems with leak?

Here are a few good posts by guys on MD and their results with flowtechs(which is made by Hooker )

A few NMRA guys using them and like them and got them for a great price. My Flowtechs are going in Friday.

Just to clear this up, Flowtech is NOT made by Hooker. It's made by the same parent company, Holley. .

Flowtech uses a similar design, but the quality is not the same as Hookers.

I use Bassani midlength with no problems other than a vibrating steering wheel. My steering shaft isnt hitting any tubes, but I get slight vibrations.

Smartass. yes they both are a holley product. however the designs are the same just craftmanship is better with Hooker. pretty much the same header except Hookers aren't as thin. Either way, many are using Flowtechs and liking them.

Mine are great. Good ground clearance, decent price. The only problem was a small leak between the xpipe and the header, but simple adjustments took care of that.

i was thinking of gettting the black ones think it worth gettting the ceramic coated ones. really they all get messed up anyway. i wanted to get the ceramic but if it really not worth it im sure the black ones will hold up pretty good
