Bassani Race Axle back?

Does anyone on here have the bassani race axle backs? It says they have a loud sound compared with other axlebacks and that is what I am looking for. I will upgrade the X-Pipe later on but I wondered if anyone had them so they could tell me if they are sure enough louder than most other systems and is it a good system?

i have em, great sound, probably the closest i have heard is teh borla stingers or the frpp stinger type ones, great sound at all rpm's, loud as heck when you get on it but very little drone when cruising in 5th gear at around 65-70. definately worth getting. cant wiat till i get my prochamber and headers. sorry i cant post any sound clips

They should fit the 2007 GT right? I plan on ordering them within the next couple days. Thank you for the input, it sounds like a sound system

YEA I DONT SEE ANY PROBLEM WITH THEM FITTING AN 07. YOU DEFINATELY WONT REGRET GETTING THEM!

I wonder if the tips will fit the rear bumper included in the California Special package?

well they have 4in tips out back, do you have the cali special? if you do just go out there with a tape measure and check it out, i really dont see there being a problem, the cali special and gt500 use the same rear bumper i believe and i have seen gt500's with 4in tips on em. i plan in the future to add the cali special rear,and cdc classic chin for the body work i have planned, including a steeda cowl hood and cdc ducktail, so if you find out let me know. it woudl suck to buy a whole new bumper and find out it doesnt clear my exhuast

I will go out and measure tommorow then hopefully order, size willing. Yeah I have a black CS GT coupe. The bumper is really nice and I think it will look beautiful with the 4" tips. I think my next mod after this is the SCT, maybe the livewire. I heard they are pretty easy to use.

I am putting them on mine tonight . I am going to record before and after. Hopefully I can figure out how to post the sound clips.

Well I put them on last night but my brothers camcorder battery was dead so I did not get the before and after sound clips. I will get an after one sometime soon. Install was not bad. Took about 1hour. I need to do some tweeking on the alignment in the cutouts but it looks pretty good.

It sounds awesome except for the drone at about 60mph. I am going to try dynamat and see if that will kill some of the drone. It has a really deep tone and gets fairly loud at wot.

Well I placed my order today for the axlebacks but I actually went with the Borla Stingers. Hopefully they will sound about the same as the Bassanis. That would be cool though if you could get those clips up.
