i got my gears and bassani catted X installed yesterday........it seems like my exhaust is sitting tooooooo low....i cant even go up speed bumps ... im afraid its gunna rip it off .... i got the 3 piece bassani btw
doesyour X pipe make a perfect straght line from the Manifold to the cat-back?
I installed my X pipe for the first time and didn't notice that it was making a downward angle with the headers until I was done with it. I got it fixed now though.
Sad to say, but Bassani does hang low No matter how you move it around, it's gonna be the same height at the bend. It's bolted, so unless you trim the pipe, it's gonna stay the same height. You can make the rest of the pipe sit as low by adjusting at the mufflers, but would you want more of the pipe hanging low?
Mine hangs low, but I don't think there is really any way to fix it. I'm also wondering if I'll be able to drop it.
BTW convertible is not spelled right in your sig.

Mine will scrape if I go over a curb at the wrong angle or too fast. I can't really say how much lower it is than stock because I didn't pay attention to the stock h-pipe. I'm scared to lower mine because of it, but I hate the 4x4 look.
I have a Bassani O/R with my Mac LT's, it hangs very low, the flanges have some scrapes, but it doesn't effect the x pipe at all. and I have my car dropped about 1.75 all the way around
Just be carefull, always go over speed bumps 3 wheeled and slow. and just watch out for stuff.... it's a blessing in disguise, by driving around parking lots and stuff more carfully, less chance you ruin something else too.
