First of all I apologize for making yet another exhaust thread but I wanted fellow Mustang lovers opinions. I just received my 06 GT bout week and half ago and I love it. It has a Bassani catted X pipe and Axelback and it does have a wicked nice growl.

However, it's WAAAY too quiet for my taste. I could care less about drone in the cabin as it's not a daily driver. Sounds good at WOT but I would like it to sound mean even at idle or lightly acclerating. I was considering getting JBA longtube headers and JBA shorty offroad H pipe and mating that up to the Bassani AB. How much louder do you think that would make it? I've listened to hundreds of clips on the Net and I like the sound of JBA.

I mean, I want to be able to wake the neighborhood if I should choose to do so and step on it ( wouldnt do so since I want my neighbors to continue liking me. lol ) Any other set up's one would recommend for balls out deep angry growling exhaust? I am familiar with almost all the exhaust systems but pricewise, was thinking of keeping the Bassani AB since it DOES sound good just not loud enough. Thank you for your time and assistance!

an off road x or h pipe will definately make it louder! My neighbors don't like my car and I keep it as quiet as possible.

Just pull out the converters...
It will be a lot louder.

Install some Comp. "Thumpr" Cams...
That will liven-up the exhaust note as well.

For $150.00 give or take you could grab a off road h pipe and you will definately enjoy the volume and tone with your mufflers.

Any particular o/r H pipe you would recommend? I like the JBA but it's a shorty, only to work with their l/t heads....

Any mustang parts dealer has them, I would think they are all about the same but I usually see Pypes and MAC for sale on almost any site I go to.
