Have bassani O/R X pipe and cat back. I did the install myself and was very pleased with the quality. Personally, I love the sound of it. It's not a real throaty sound but it is definitely loud. AT WOT the NASCAR type sound describes it best. I drove around for a couple of months w/o the baffles in--It's very loud. Scares animals, scares people, bounces off buildings, and hurts my ears after an hour--Which is all pretty cool if you ask me, but I get enough tickets so I try not to draw too much attention to myself.

I went from a Dr. Gas X-pipe to the Bassani X-pipe. The Dr. Gas is much smoother and tuned sounding. While the Bassani is raspy but more rattle like. It is like the sound bounces around the x-chamber of the Bassani. I assume this is what gives it its volume. It is very loud definetly with the o/r version. Like loudness but I also want it to sound cleaner. This why I am back with the H-pipe and chamber muffler combo. I guess you can say I am conservative!

I've got teh SLP LM and was wondering if anyone had the Bassani o/r x. A guy I know offered it to me for $80, so I am considering it.

of which setup?
If you go to www.mustangexhaust.com there are soundclips for just about every exhaust combo you can imagine. I personally like the sound of the MAC prochamber and borla or bassani catbacks.
