Bassanni x- pipe problem

The right cat is breaking up after 5 years. What are my options. Do I need a whole new x-pipe. Or can I get only the busted cat replaced. Or should I get it gutted. My set up now includes flowmaster muffs.

depending on your location and emmissions regulations my first reaction would be to say gut the cats. now if emmissons is a problem and you need cats to pass a sniffer test i say get a new catted mid pipe.
if you decide to take the other route and just get new cats replace both passenger and driver side cats at the same time. theres no telling what condition the other side is in and the exhaust pulses will be equalwith new cats in place.

I welded some catco cats from summit to my o/r bassani pipe and it passed emmisions fine, it's not legal to do it but the exhaust levels were fine.
