Batt relocation question

looking to relocate my batt to the trunk. have searched several posts on this matter but still have the one question. Battery box is easy to install and ground wire is no problem but...
What is the best way to route the positive cable from the trunk to the engine bay? any pics would help! Thanks!

Run it along the inside of rocker panel. At either end, route it where it's out of the way and best protected from damage.

I routed mine over the wheel well, through the trunk to the spot where the 1/4 window sits, through the rocker panel (under the sill plate) and then drilled a hole in the floor and routed it to the engine bay. Basically it follows the same path of the tail harness but on the passenger side.

when i do mine, i will run the power cable through some flexible electrical conduit, and run it along the outside of my subframe connectors.

When I put subframes in mine I'm going to trunk my battery. I was going to run the cable in side my subframe connectors.

be sure to add a ground wire from the engine to the chassis. chris

With a unibody like a Mustang (old unibody at that), it's not a bad idea to run a separate ground cable along with the positive cable. It might save you some headaches later on.
