Hi guys,

I am replacing my battery cables. Just checking to be sure i didnt miss nuthin..

Positive batt cable goes to that box on the dr side..then another cable goes from there directly to starter...it's that simple right? do those cables branch off or is it that simple?

The neg cable I'll have to trace..i know a ground comes off it to the radiator support like Grady said but then I have to see where it goes...any help from y'all experienced flks? thx.

The positive is correct. The negative runs into the harness with the O2 sensor wiring, so it's a little more of a PITA to replace because you have to open up the harness to replace it. It runs from the battery to the timing cover, just above the oil pressure sending unit.

You could just abandon the negative in place, cut off the ends where it goes into the harness, and run new cable. I did it by opening up the harness only because I had full access to it with my engine out.
