My Bullit has the original Motorcraft battery and it is getting close to 5 years, want to replace it now.

I read a lot about what is better and it all conflicts.

I have had good luck with Walmart, but read they are not great.

So I check O'rielly they have the Super Start, batteries made by Deka, suppose to be good.

The 96R is in the car now, the tray is long enough but will a 91 size fit, about 2" longer?

I don't want a red top Optima, too much coin and mixed reviews as well.

I recommend going to Ford and getting a Motorcraft BXT series battery. 100 month warranty and free roadside assistance. I used to work for a dealer and we sold them for $109.95. Might vary elsewhere.

I put Duralast Golds in to both my 05 V6 and 05 GT and it's been a great battery. 6 year warranty I think. Another brand that has performed well for me in other cars, especially where cold, is Napa Gold.

I went with another Motorcraft bxt, was 100.00 and has a long warranty.
