battery light???

what can make the battery light come on? at first it just flickered over bumps and when i revved. now its always on. ive been driving for a week like this so the alternator is charging the battery, voltage guage looks fine, its still running so that means that it has a good connection right? I just replaced the oil pressure sensor, took a bunch of stuff apart (TB, upper intake, EGR, headers, valve covers, emissions air injection valves and tubes, new plugs, new cap/rotor, new plug wires, and any electrical connection in my way) if that helps solve this problem.

Light comes on when voltage hits 15.1 volts or below 11.9 I believe. If you have a DMM, crank the car, and check your voltage exactly.

When mine came on, it was because my alt. took a dive.

But, like you said you've been driving for a week or so.

In addition to checking voltage, make sure that all your connections are tight; i.e. battery cables etc.
