just to give you an idea we dropped the car off at Gary Rohe race cars in indiana right after christmas. we left a tuesday night at like 10pm... drove just about straight there got to garys shop around 9am after stopping to eat and all that. dropped the car off and went over everything that had to be done. turned around and drove straight home... got home like 9pm

fast forward to a few weeks ago, left friday after work around 6pm. mind you i get up at 5am for work. drove till about 3am took about a 2 hour nap. then back on the road around 5am. got to garys shop around 9am again. car wasnt ready so we helped finish everything up. left garys shop around 11pm that night and came home. stopped around 2am for a nap back on the road around 5am or so.

then every wednesday since then we have been at the shop till 1 or 2am working on getting the car ready for memphis.

Don't know why I didn't mention it last night (probably because I was checking this while I waited on my scantool to talk to the car I was working on), but if you want good cordless tools on a budget the Ryobi One+ system is the shiznit. I have two of the drills, the sawzall, the sander, the tree trimmer, and the circular saw, and a co-worker uses their 1/4" driver all night every night at work. I keep expecting some sort of compromises or durability issues at the price they sell for, and it keeps not happening no matter how hard I use their tools.

FYI this guy has another auction where the price is considerably less than normal. Also, 69 sold for that Dewalt now. It was 7 when I ordered my two.

Showing 99 sold in 24 hrs now. I can't see this ending well.
When I bought #5, it showed 10 available. Now it shows "More than 10 available".
The guy has 29 feedback over multiple years all as a buyer.

I was afraid the scam might be some sort of currency conversion scam and we'd be out $300, but the transaction has already been accepted at $28 from my paypal account. At least looks like the max loss I'll possibly take won't be too bad. Edit: I may have spoke too soon on that, paypal did take $28 but the seller hasn't accepted it yet.

Mine's an extremely low-end race car . Still takes work. Definitely not as much as guys that win, but still more nights working on the car at 3AM than I'd prefer.

pretty sure something sketchy here as the seller has never sold anything and all of sudden he has 150 of these at 75% off retail? Well. I'm in for $60 and worst case scenario Paypal will refund the money if he doesnt deliver. He hasn't accepted my funds as of yet either. Not to worry as Paypal will not let him get the money and holds it in escrow for a certain amount of time. I'll email the seller and ask when he is going to ship

Anybody have any thoughts on the 24v kobalt 1/4" drive? It is rated at like 1800 in/lbs which is 150 ft/lbs. It has 4 settings for torque. I have been watching them since Christmas, looking at a 4pc combo. My 18v Dewalt set is getting old, and would love one that will run lug nuts on and off.

I got the email also. I was able to cancel the payment from Paypal since it wasn't accepted yet. Looks like it could take up to 30 days to get the money back though.

And as we thought it was a scam.

Like Derek said it's not that cut and dry . Love this hobby and drag racing as a whole .

To say we worked more then we enjoyed in Georgia this past feb was an understatement . But it comes with the territory

Same here. I had to get a paypal rep on the phone and they got me refunded in under ten minutes. When it looks too good to be true...
