Unless you want all of those things, I would get the 3/8" equivalent to the 1/4" impact in your link.

I think this might be the one. Anyone know of a better one?

Do you already own Bosch stuff? I'll just say that the torque specs for the Milwaukee brushless impact, are better, and cost less. If you own Bosch products already, then it doesn't make since to switch platforms.

I do have the Bosch drill (non-impact). Their 3/8" impact has one of the better torque ratings of the 3/8" but yeah... Their half inch seems to be a bit lacking. They need to make me a 40V.

The 18v Milwaukee is rated at 100ft/lbs on low, and 700ft/lbs on high. It's laughed at anything I've thrown at it. LoL

But yeah, if you have Bosch, just stay with Bosch. 500ft/lbs is plenty for most car guys.

I thought Bosch had a 1/2" that also has a 1/4" hex inside of the 1/2" square. Double duty.

They do. It's this one:

That one is not 500 ft/lbs though. It's 1500-1600 in/lbs.

Two different critters. I really like the 3/8" version of this gun. Same torque rating, I just think I'd get more use from the 3/8" drive. I'd rather step down to 1/4 from 3/8 than step up to 3/8 from 1/4.

After all is said and done, I may end up with a 3/8" Bosch and a 1/2" Milwaukee.
