does anybody knows what could be wrong with my car, voltage with car off is 12.5 and running is 14.2. it wont start, feels like the battery is discharged the only way i can get ot to start is by jump start.

Bad battery? Good voltage doesn't necessarily mean the battery is good. Have Autozone, Pepboys, etc. load test it.

i just checked the battery water level and was low i filled them up and the car started but after a couple times it wouldn't start again.

What kind of battery are you using that has a water level to check? A 97 GT would have a sealed battery.

i took it autozone and was bad so i got another one now car starts. thanks
