Yesterday I installed a bbk 70mm tb, The problem I am having is when I rev the motor up and as the rpms come down it idles at 1200 rpms for about 4 seconds and then it drops down to normal idle below 1000. what do you think is wrong? could it be possible tps?

did you remember to install the return spring? or it could possibly have too much slack; it's job is to return the throttle position back to closed and it could possibly be leaving it open

- Does the throttle pedal feel solid or kinda weak and squishy?

I bet their is too much slack that is causing the problems. It could have been put together wrong.
This is the first time I heard of anyone having problems
with BBK throttle bodys.
The throttle bodys I hear people were having problems
with were the Mac throttle bodys.

Try adjusting the blade towards the closed position a little at a time, just make sure it doesn't bind. You have to have it running to feel if it's binding. The IAC will compensate. Did you disconnect your batt also like the directions say?

My brand new MAC acted that way. The idle was slow to drop then it would stick on idle. When I would slowly press the gas on stop to go, it stuck till it broke open and would give too many rpms. I sold it brand new for a loss after two weeks. Accufab for $100 more has never given me a problem and it's still on for my supercharger.

Did you you buy it brand new or used?
Mine went on with out a hitch and I know a few other that have had 0 probs with the BBK installs.
If it new then the blade is factory set and should not be adjusted, you didn't clean off the sealant in side the TB did you? that will cause it to mess up too.
If it's new I would call BBK tech support and talk to them or send it back to where ever you bought it from and ask for a replacement.

Just my 2 cents worth.
