bbk caster camber assembly

I put on the BBk caster camber assembly and BBk lowering springs.When reinstalling everything, the strut does not fit tight against the washer and bushing in the assembly. Does this mean I need to compress the spring more and jack the lower controll arm up? Or....Does something not sound right here......Thanks
