Jackson, Ms
are they worth it? and are they as big of a PITA to install as the long tubes, cuz i DON'T wanna drop my k-member or jack up my engine, and to me one of the only advantages of shorties would be ease of install, along with the price. I havent seen any dyno #'s on these yet so anyone with them it would be appreciated. Thanks

actually the long tubes would be easier to install since you don't have to mess around with the h pipe and the tight space. you have to raise the engine/drop the k-member for any header install
Long tubes are definitly harder to install on the 4.6. Second, you dont have to mess with the H-pipe with SHORTIES, not long tubes... for LT's, you have to modify the mid-pipe, not the other way around. And finally, you do have to jack up the engine a bit, but you DO NOT have to drop the K-member for a shortie install. They are worth the pita install to me, but some other obviously they are not. Took me about 8-10 hours on my back with my brother, 2 jack stands, and a floor jack. You will need a good selection of tools, a good write up, and a friend or two to help if you plan on doing this as a weekend project though. Good luck, and let me know if you have any specific questions about them. :flag:
