Does anyone know if bbk equal lenghts are illegal in California? Will I run into problems when I do smog check? I heard something about an EGR tube. I really want headers to compliment my BBK off-road h pipe. I can handle swapping the h pipe every 2 years , but not headers.

I don't have the equal length, but on my BBK shorties the connection for the EGR tube is in the wrong place on the header(it's too high). Luckily, my roommate was able to cut a section out of the EGR tube and weld it back together, making it short enough to work. I guess it's probably better that the connection is too high, instead of too low. lol

The E/L BBKs are 50 state legal with an EO#. They have the bung for the EGR and it fits perfectly with the stock EGR tube.

If you need the EO# just get ahold of BBK and they give it to you.

My bbk shorties came with a new egr tube to fit. No welding involved.
