I've had my bbk headers for a little over a year now and still holding up great. I have taken them off about three times now and always as easy to put on as the first time. The only mistake I made was not getting them in a ceramic finish.
Im considering buying the crome long tubes , they dont have the ceramic ones in stock or id go for those. Its between bbk , flowtech , or Hedman... (The bbk's cost twice as much as teh flowtech and hedmans... worth the extra dosh? )
The only problem I have with chrome bbks are that they stay chrome for about a day. I have never dealt with LT flowtechs, but if they are anything like their shortys I'd stay away. Have no experience with the hedmen brand.
i have owned my car for just about a year. my boyfriend owned it for a year before that... had bbk long tubes on it the whole time and i haven't seen a problem with them yet. very pleased.
Unless you want to do shows, I'd say do the BBK chrome. Don't let people tell you longtube installation is hard because I did it myself with no trouble and it was the first time I've ever did a full exhaust. Did from headers to tailpipes in a day. The chrome turns to purplish bronze like something color and will rust easily. Had mine on for 4 months now and is garage kept. Still rusts. How much are Hedman and Flowtech? My BBKs weren't expensive at all.
