Anyone else see this?

1996-2004 Ford Mustang DSI-Series Dual Intake Manifold Titanium Finish Incl. Fuel Rail Kit

Quite pricey, IMO!

$1400....... LOL, forget that crap. I'll stick with my stock PI, it works just fine.

I would like to see an actual dyno sheet. The fact that they used the standard "our own in-house dyno tests have shown impressive gains across the board" leads me to be superstitious. If theres a dyno in house - use your printer, in house - and show me the HP.

I'm just curious to see what the dual stage aspect of the intake can help torque and hp production. Not going to buy one, but I will give them credit for not just copying the existing designs.

I remeber their SSI intake (5.0)and thinking how cool it looked but then I only saw it on one car ever and it seemed to fade into obscurity
The IMRC works well in the Aero Cobras and my Mark VIII. It was a good band-aid for the power band at the time. I can feel the power difference big time in my car when they open so I could see a difference on a 2v. I bet it will only gain a couple horses but the low end will be a bit nicer so it should be great for street driven N/A cars

Really that design would not be benificial to FI. On a N/A car is where you will see improvments. If you are ramming the air in the engine already then a ram air effect of the longer runners wont help it me thinks

Ha, my ported heads with all the trims was cheaper than that - by a lot. Good for them for doing the R&D tho.
