BBK intake question!

I just picked up my new '88 Hatch! Drove good on the way home just needs some minor TLC, like new fluids and tune up! I also saw the BBK CAI filter is dirty nasty! Yeah, thats right dirty nasty! Does anyone know if there is a K&N filter I can buy to replace it with? Specially since I don't want to order another filter and the recharge kit from BBK, because I want to drive it!

I have the fenderwell BBK intake and I use the K&N recharge kit

Yes, hose out the filter, get it clean, then go buy a can of k&n filter oil, $5 bux. I did it on my mac filter and it looks new again.

Alright, I didn't know I could cross the brands of filter cleaner and the filter. Appreciate the help going to go hose it off now and then get the recharger kit later.

I will post some pics after church. Today is overhaul day, hopefully get some new speakers installed, speedo gear, fuel sending unit, tune-up, little cleaning underneath with some degreaser, and the driveside door lock actuator.
